Holster will fit a Smith & Wesson Chief Special 4" or similar 4" revolver up to 4". Holster was made between 1919 an 1955. Holster is made of heavy oak tanned California skirting leather, closed end, unlined waxed thread sewed, belt loop on back, there is a welt down the side but does not extend clear across bottom, welt permits a snug fit.
