This is a good, but not a build-around ability even if you have plenty of ways to give your creatures double strike and trample

More recently I have gone upto 7 equipment with Embercleave, Ancestral Blade and the returning of Feast and Famine (which was due to Gilded Goose being great with Swords, although I am fairly close to cutting it again and returning to 6 equips)

It's probably a little early to make predictions about whether these Mega Evolution cards will generate the same level of unhinged hype as the current newest Pokemon set, Prismatic Evolutions, but the 2025 release window certainly means it's going to be a busy year
