An interesting thing about this card is it doesn't seem to have all that much to do with the deck's commander, Y'shtola

Personally, I have a lot of faith in the card and try to use it very judiciously, and I dont mind letting another player get ahead early to draw the ire of the table

Just be sure youre not going to come back in a year before you liquidate everything
