Description

the colors are lively

blinds and light upholstery — perfect for adding a timeless

a fresh reworking of one of Liberty’s best-loved archival prints from 1910

as if they've come to life straight from a child's drawing

having been one of the main causes of the ‘mutiny on the Bounty’ in 1789

Ianthe Mono Boucle the colors are livelyIanthe is a quintessential example of French Art Nouveau design, originally created as a wallpaper border by artist R. Beauclair in c. 1902 and printed for Liberty in 1967. Ianthe Mono is a one colour version of Ianthe discovered hidden in the archive, it evokes the forms first used by Liberty in the 60s. The textured non woven ground is softly visible through the chalky pigments layered on top.
