but in reality they are the same black as the rest of the reel

and the screw heads are largely free of defects as are the other parts of the reel

A nice rod that's been refinished with great skill

Good used condition with plenty of cosmetic wear but fine mechanically. Reversible single screw nickel silver line guide. The Zenith was part of Hardy's Lightweight Series of reels and this was one of two wide drum Lightweight models made in the mid to late 1960s. 3 3 8" diameter with a 1 3 16" spool width and capacity is WF9F plus 80 yards of 18# dacron backing.
