Creatures (19) Planeswalkers (4) Lands (24) Spells (13) Sideboard The combination of unbelievably flexible and efficient discard and removal, combined with Dark Confidant to fuel the whole thing, has been a defining strategy in Modern on many occasions
As we talked about before, the issue with Gyruda, Doom of Depths is that, discounging a ramp spell on turn two, it locks you into only playing one spell for the first three turns of the game
What makes this so good is that you only need a dork of a power four or more to work, so every Commander with it should toss this in, as welk as in ones that pump your Commander's power like auras, equipment or Voltron
Much like our earlier card, Coruscation Mage, light is used incredibly here
If you happen to have a Wizard out on the field, you can pick two modes, at which point the card basically becomes a better Prismari Command (though it lacks the treasure making powers of the Strixhaven spell)
