On the base of the hull two faint firing pin marks can be seen typical of a Henry rifle ( ). One pull of the trigger leaves two firing pin marks. A faint H head stamp can also be seen on the base see photo 3. Dug from the North Georgia area. See also Thomas handbook item 60.
